Go Chuckster

Hi, I'm Charlie. I'm a swimmer/cyclist/runner and when I'm not I work for the internets. I also do a little photography on the sly.
Ever wonder how Star Wars got so popular again?  Back in the early 90s a guy named Timothy Zahn wrote a book trilogy continuing the Star Wars Universe post-Return of The Jedi.  Mind that no new Star Wars canon had been written since the last film in 1982.  After “Heir to The Empire” went big, Star Wars came back.  But what really helped was the publication of the greatest Star Wars comic book series (to this day), Dark Empire.
I was 11 when it came out, and it was considered the greatest thing…ever.
I don’t know if any of the other (non-prequel) Star Wars lovers out there remember this series.  The script and the artwork still haven’t been beaten by any Star Wars artist or writer since.  That’s right, it’s all been downhill since…sigh.
