Flyin’ Charlie

This in one of a series of 4 paintings that I did of my children when they were young. In this painting Charlie has been hoisted overhead in a long line of adults and carried on down the line, while we all rang out, “we’re here to support you Charlie!” We did this to all the children present on that 4th of July afternoon celebration down at Lindenlure on the Finley River here in Missouri.
GPOYW, this is a watercolor my Mom did based on an old photo from our cabin down in the Ozarks where Andrew and Lindsey have been staying lately.
