New weekly ritual: “New Reads” list every Friday since things have been going so well the last couple of months. I spend a couple of hours searching for new genre reads to add to my growing Amazon, buying queue. I usually order the next couple of books once I finish whatever I’m currently reading.
Currently just started Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke, but so far these are some new finds I’ve saved to my “buy” list heavily featuring epic multi-volume stories:

Here’s a list of authors/titles I’ve added to my queue most of which are part of epic multi-volume stories:

David Brin’s “Uplift Saga”:
“Sundiver” and “Startide Rising”

Jane S. Fancher’s “Groundties”

Tad Williams’ “Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn” Trilogy
“The Dragonbone Chair”, “Stone of Farewell”, and “The Green Angel Tower”
(I actually got “Stone” as a gift in Junior High, but never finished it).

Dan Simmons’ “Hyperion”

Jack Vance’s “Tales of the Dying Earth”

I can’t imagine getting through all of these before the end of the spring as I mostly read on the train, but with a little bit of vitamin “D” I might have a chance.
