-finally caught Basterds. Definitely going to pick up the DVD to see what the Weinstein’s made Tarantino cut out. I don’t know about masterpiece, Kill Bill was a better color pallete and a more well defined characters, but Basterds was thematically richer and more emotionally compelling.
FTW Basterds because he was able to make better use of narrative economy and fit a more compelling story into just one film instead of needing two.
