After being bummed to miss out on all the possibilities of a jail-broken iphone I’ve found that most of the same functionality like skype mobile and universal remote apps still exist in blackberry form.  I’ll have to experiment when my new Tour arrives. Desired functionality: -Skype via 3G (or at least via wifi, which is more likely) -Universal remote via bluetooth or IR I’ve found some promising universal remote hardware for A/V equipment here AV Shadow I’m still looking for a simple bluetooth remote solution for PC/OSX control.  It appears that there are some for specific carriers/blackberry models.
