So apparently because of the monopoly cell phone companies have and the price fixing that they engage in the basic cost of a cheap blackberry is the same month-to-month for a similar iphone at&t plan.  That means I can mentally justify spending a little extra up front for the new 3GS, but my old number is a Missouri area code so apparently it’s going to take an act of god for me to keep my old number. Looks like I’ll be camping out in line at the Apple Store tonight.
