My VGA card died this morning while I was cooking breakfast (EVGA 8800 GTS G92 rev.).  No sweat, the rest of my PC is fine and my precious data intact.  I elected to go with ATI this time around, I haven’t used an ATI card since my AGP days of pre-2004 (that doesn’t seem like that long ago).
Here’s to hoping I plug it in and don’t find out that it was really my MOBO that popped.
