-I just tried this out. It’s pretty cool, but the menu/selection system lends itself to homeowners versus apartment-dwellers like me. For instance there is no option for people who don’t pay for water/heat like me. NYC apartment landlords are required to supply both for free.
When it’s all said and done I’m actually at about $500/year in utility bills which includes a large desktop computer, lots of movie watching, lots of gas stove cooking, and moderate a/c use.
*The service is free so I’d recommend trying it out even if you live alone in a cheap apartment.*
