Go Chuckster

Hi, I'm Charlie. I'm a swimmer/cyclist/runner and when I'm not I work for the internets. I also do a little photography on the sly.
Since my summer class dealing with the Hollywood Horror Film tradition is almost over I’ve got an extra 10 hours a week to rededicate to my photography.  What a coincidence that a free copy of “The Podcast Companion” arrived today.  Earlier this year Eric Houston contacted me about using some of my New York Comic Con pictures for his new book “The Podcast Companion” based on work I had done at NYCC 2008.
All the pictures were captured during my adventures with Alex, Justin, and Pete (currently of Comic Book Club) from our Next New Networks show Pulp Secret, and good friend John Siuntres of Word Balloon (who merits his own chapter in the book).
Comic Book Resources has a very favorable review of the book:
“The interviews are insightful into the origin of each podcast and what each does that’s different from the others. While Around Comics features a trio of hosts discussing a variety of comics-related topics, Word Balloon is exclusively a creator-interview show hosted by John Siuntres, Comic Geek Speak has seven members, and iFanboy also does videocasting. Houston offers a nice variety of different types of podcasts with different purposes, formats, and interests.”
